Help!!! Factory Security Alarm

I need help...quick! How do I disable the factory security alarm/kill thing? I had to leave my car stranded because the stupid thing will not start after having the alarm go off 3 times in a row just from opening the door. I disconnected the neg. cable and put it back on, the car cranks, but the security light is still blinking and it won't start. Help quickly!!!

I *think* you need to lock/unlock the drivers door with the key to disable it.

I've set them off already by reaching in the open window to unlock it.

A few years ago my car the alarm would go off every time I tried to unlock the car. I was not able to make it go off. I would have to let it beep and lights flash for 7 mins, or something like that and then it would be alright. Don't use the power door lock switch and it won't arm the alarm

Is there really any negative effect (other than losing the alarm) to just ripping out the module for the security system? I've got new locks in the doors and whoever put them in didn't hook up the leads that make it able to shut the alarm off using the door key. I really can't think of any other choices.
