I know I post sporadically here, but I promise to improve when the car is running better.

That said, I'm looking for help on the exhaust. 579's previous owner had the catalytic converter replaced and the exhaust shop decided to cut off original flange and weld in the new cat on both ends. So now I want to repair or restore the exhaust and I'm hoping someone has a spare GN flex pipe section lying around they could take a photo of. I'm trying to see if it's similar to the one on the TTA. It's a long shot, I know.

The gn does not have a flex pipe like the tta. The front of the converter slips on the down pipe and the outlet has the large 4 bolt flange that bolts to the 4 bolt flange on the exhaust pipe. Is the hanger near the rear of converter still there? The top of the down pipe has spring bolts. Thats where the system can give a little.

Interesting, the dp has spring bolts, then there's an S-curve flex pipe section, then the cat.

Anyone have a trusted exhaust shop?
