what would happen if you took a stock TR too say 6000 or 6500 RPM's(and dont say you wold be wasting your time b/c i know that)

Try taking it to 7450 when your shifter malfunctions. Been there done that.

Think it's been discussed that a stock engine can withstand a few blasts to ~6,000. I know my GN's been there a few times by accident and still is in one piece. Sure wouldn't try 6,200+ if you can help it.
