Question for all the paint/body guys..
Just got my GN painted, and I have a few questions. After he attempted to buff it several times, I finally brought it home with a lot of what looks like a hologram on both sides. Can't really call them swirl marks.. What can clear this up for me? The guy did a good job painting the car, but the detail left much to be desired.

Typical of a rotary buffer! Grrrr. You, or someone can clear that right up with a DA (dual action) orbital and some medium/mild polish.

This can't be done by hand? I do,t have access to a buffer.. But I'll buy one if that's what it takes! Thanks man..

It can but it's going to be a lot of work. $110 spent on a Porter cable 110 buffer was the best money I ever spent on cars.

And that's a DA buffer? Less than I expected

Autogeek dot net is the best place to reasonably priced Porter Cable kits. I get all my supplies from there.
