My postings from $30,000 of experience. Buick Specialist's plus my since 86' production owning self,How about you??? Nevermind, this thread not about you...Because Your so Wrong!!!...80's tech home computers vs the year 2000+ models, enough said there!....Turbo's need a tall gear to pull on. These cars aren't 4:56 gear small blocks..yes leave factory gears an go 26" inch tall tire,it'll be a rocket!! to the 1/8th an then fall flat on it's face!!..if your going 1/4 mile, goodbye motor!!!...All this only applys if you push over 600hp!!!...but you'll live an learn (race ya when your ready standing start to 1 mile!!!)
Blazer.. try an experiment an go up 1 or 2 inches in rear tire size...then all the next steps from there when "it works"

I bet after 1/2 mile it's in pieces, any of them..8^)No offense.. But I put my money is on Bison winning that fight. His slow car I think pushes 600 HP.

Well I havent owned since 86 since I was 9 years old at the time but have since 1994. So you got me there. $30000 isnt chit to spend on a car. Especially one of these. If I took every $ I spent on my own stuff, all the labor on my own stuff and time I worked on others cars for free and could have it all back in $$$ it would likely be in the $200-225k range. the production ecu has been at least mid nines. If you want to challenge me at least do it in a reasonable manner. I'm not racing you in a mile race. I'll drag race you with the following handicaps just so you have a chance:
1. Ill take the xfi out of my car and run a baseline chip with no wot fuel adjustments so I'll be doing all tuning with no wideband correction. You keep your xfi
2. I'll run 93/alky. You can run whatever you want.
3. I'll go from the stock 3.42 gears to 3.73's even though it might hurt my combo a little.
4. I'll run a 62 or smaller compressor inducer. You can run whatever you want.
Let me know if you want to do it. Figure out what we are racing for.
i had a combo that ran in the 10's easily, with a 4.56 rear, stock ecm with a tt chip, stock maf, pump gas alky.ohh and yes it went well over the stock ecm limitation of 120mph
You really have no idea who you are talking to do you? Look at what he has contributed to this community and especially on this message board. Grow up.
It's not bone stock with no cat and a 150 shot.... And 11.99 @ 119 is actually not very good with a 150 shot so I stand by my original comment that you don't know chit.
Cracks won't do chit once the turbo is spooled. It's the same effect as a wastegate dumping exhaust energy. If the car isn't picking up with added boost there is some other limitation.
