I knew I had a race today............
Like a lot of you guys, I generally can't buy my way into some honest stop light action. Against ricers it is 2lbs of boost and they are fodder for the GN. Most cars won't even try to race me.
On my way home from work on the 2 lane bridge over the Savannah river, and a newer black Mustang GT with flowmasters merges into traffic and proceeds to speed up..quickly. He is 3 car lengths ahead in the right lane, I am behind a truck in the left lane. I pull to the right lane and gas it. He pulls to the left lane to pass someone, I maneuver and get on his bumper. He looks in his rearview mirror, sees me.........and lets off the gas and starts waving his arm and shaking his head "NO". I pull to the right lane and get even with him and he shakes his head again...He didn't want any. I waved to him, and drove on.
Oh well, maybe at the strip in Reynolds on May 19th I'll get a race!
