I know it probably won`t work but can someone tell me why?

If someone were hesitant (not me) to put alchohol on their car, but wanted to cool their cylinders a bit, couldn`t they just put *some water* into the fuel tank thus almost having individual cylinder water injection? I sometimes get off the wall ideas, and then don`t know how to prove that they wont work. So go ahead and tear me apart;)

I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons, but the main thing I can think of is that water is heavier than fuel and will separate, and will then be injected all at once instead of mixed with the fuel. Now if water could be added to the fuel in an emulsion, maybe someone will know why that wouldn't work.

kill the pump, filter, and other fuel components.
Rust.
Corrosion.
already mentioned, cannot mix with fuel.

well that about sums it up:D I just like to try and think of new ideas that maybe nobody has before, guess it is backing to the thinking chair.
