While installing my Blue Tops yesterday afternoon I noticed that the #3 injector "plug" was showing an exposed wire. It seems that someone in their infinite wisdom decided that it was time to route the harness BEHIND the EGR effectively burning it over the last few years. Grrrrrr.
Can I simply hit the boneyard and grab a new "plug" off of any Bosch-Type injector'd car and solder it in place of my questionable unit? Or does this situation deem a call to Caspers for a new harness?
