installing extender in TTA

for the Turbo Regal/GN the following is printed in the instructions for the Extender:

"Remove the locking 'comb' from the top side of the large connector and
insert the small terminal of the supplied wire into cavity D11 as
shown in figure 1.

Run this wire above the plastic footwell trim to the front end of the
console. Attach the supplied tap connector to the gray wire that runs
down from behind the radio and disappears under the console. Plug the
supplied wire into the tap connector."

I understand where to insert the wire into the ecm, but where is the wire that I need to splice into on a TTA?

It connects to the dashlights or the light that lights up the shifter when you turn on the parking lights

As Mike said, easiest on the TTA is to pull up shifter trim plate and splice the
wire into the feed for the shift indicator lights.
