instrument cluster lights dim

since ive owned my car my cluseter lights where dim i pulled the cluster out and all the bulbs are good and none burnt .. then i thaught it was normal but in my brother in laws gn his are much brighter and nice .. anyone have an idea what could cause this? :X thanks

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say bad grounds. These cars are old and the grounds are getting crappy. Caspers sells some sort of grounding kit but if you went over all of the grounds and re-did them I bet you'd see brighter lights.
