intake gasket, gm or fel-pro?

doing some poder coating this winter so im planing to do my intake, so should i use a factory gm part or should i use aftermarket like fell-pro , some people said you have to use sealant or is it clean /install,torque to specs ?need some advise here guys before i put it back together is not a rush i what to my time thanks pete !!

I always use the felpro. If I remember, the factory one you have to spray it with the copper stuff. I use felpro, put some ulrta copper around the water jackets, dab at the four corners of the heads and tighten the hell out of the bolts with a wrench in the correct pattern. Using a torque wrench is fine to, same out come. Never had a problem

Does anyone know if the gm is metal like the Fpro? I can say, dont use a napa one or a victor reinze.

they are all metal. felpro is metal with a coating on top to seal it. the gm one you have to spray the copper crap to seal it.
