Just thinking about Vacuum pressure and this ? hit me.

Just out of curiosity, I happened to just gaze at my vacuum pressure at idle (800-900rpm) And this question just popped in my head. Is there any point at where it should be? Mine is at about 17-18 vacuum pressure., Anyone?

That is typical of stock camshafts, As the cam gets bigger the vacuum typically becomes less.

BTW, vacuum is measured in inches of mercury, (15in of vacuum)as apposed to pressure which is pounds per square inch(15 psi).
