Well, I guess he's either stupid or just doesn't care. There was a vote yesterday to extend unemployment benefits for another 13 weeks. Kerry was off campaigning and didnt' vote. The measure lost with 40 against and 59 for. Had Kerry voted for it, it would have passed. So much for his concern for the unemployed. His excuse on the radio today was that his program would be to fix unemployment by adding new jobs. Little consolation to those out of work NOW.

It's called clouture (sp?). It did not come up for a actual vote. There was a filabuster which requires a super majority (60) votes to break. If it is broken, then the vote can take place which would only need 51 votes to pass.

Same crap that the Democrates use to block Bush's judicial nominees.

Kerry was too busy riding through Louisville at rush hour yesterday to care about any unemplyed persons. They actually had all the exits blocked on 264 on both sides of the airport and did it screw things up. Who gives a fuk if he was in town or not. It was advertised that he was being brought in by a veterans group but I sure as hell didn't know anything about it. That would be akin to Jesse Jackson being brought in by the KKK. What!!!!!!!
