Knock knock,,Gofstbuick are you in?
A couple of years ago, you offered to help me with my car when it came time to smog it. Well it is up and running and now the smog is due. I smogged it with the original engine before I pulled it because I knew I would need extra time to learn and get it running properly before smog.
In my area we have smog check II.
Car is an 84 Cutlass that originally came with a NA 3.8
Currently has a LC2
Where/how do I find a Referee station?
What all will they check there?
Will the computer need to be accessible?
Are the following parts legal?
K&N AIr Filter?
Billet adjustable fuel regulator?
Liquid intercooler?
Custom burnt chip? I have a new smog chip coming
Coolant lines blocked off from hard heater tube to
throttle body?
Other than that I know I need to remove the valve cover breathers and put on the stock parts.
Will they perform a smog test there? Or do they just check it out to make sure it is legal and correct then send you to a test facility?
