low oil pressure???

hey guys,..i just got a oil pressure gauge on the buick , and the pressure

seems low...it's at 1o to 15 psi on hot idle..at cold idle its around 50

psi...when i get on the gas it go's from 40 to 50psi....it's

that normal???..thanks guys any help will be appriciated...

You're fine. My stock engine was exactly like that for many years of punishment...kept going strong. As long as the pressure rises with RPM your good. 10 psi is probably the lowest you want to see at idle. The old adage...10psi per 1000 rpms still rings true.
