low oil pressure

hey guys is it normal to my oil pressure to be at 50 on start up but then drops below 10 when it gets hot its a stage two motor .thanks

Mine is 70 startup and stays there untill oil starts getting hot then drops to 25 (hot ) @ idle. Water temp and oil temp are not always the same. Oil temp is much slower to reach operating temp. than water as it is not thermostat controlled.

What weight oil are you running? Seems like I have heard 10 psi/1,000 rpm. I would like more at idle. My RPE 109 starts at 70-80 psi upon startup and doesn't drop below 30 psi at idle...running 10W30 oil. How long since rebuild?

the motor was just done its a stage two on centre with 2 sleeves the oil in it is 10 w 30 i get 60 to 70 when cold then once it gets hot boom below 10

What rod/main clearances? I would not run it till fixed if it were mine...Wet sump oiling?
