This summer i did a 13" Baer brake upgrade to my front end, this has moved my wheels outboard about 3/8" on each side. This has lead the wheel to hit the inner wheel well on suspension travel.

any information pro or con would be appreciated.

My wheel is 17 X 8.5 ROH ZS Racing w/4.47 backspacing

Machining the mounting face will weaken the lug nut tapers. Not recommended.
What other front suspension mods have you done?

Thanks for your input John. Your point is one of my greater concerns. I wanted to run these wheels for a year before making a major commitment to custom wheels.

To answer your questions, the complete front end mods that I ran this year:

Suspension Techniques Lowering Coils
SPC Upper Control Arms w/ stock ball joint
Stock Lower Control Arms w/ stock ball joint
AFX Spindles
Baer 13" Brakes

on the front, just add a little bit of camber to tip the top of the tire in- might increase tire wear, might not... on the rears add air shocks..
