MAF problem

just got my te44 installed and took it for a drive and at 10lbs of boost the car dies. Hooked up the scan tool and the car dies as soon as the maf hits 255g of flow then comes back alive when the scan tool reads below 255. Is it a cutout from the computer, is there any way around it without the translator and lt1 maf that is cheaper. Never thought i would be maxing out parts this early in the game Thanks

50 or so, never below 43.

TT street 92 chip, but was burned for the stock turbo. I asked eric if the chip was fine for the 44 and he said to just watch fuel psi and lean cond. which both seem to be fine.

I am running the stock 85 maf if that helps.

do you have an 85 or 86/87 ECU?

Car ran great before turbo swap, and the maf max reading at that time was 225-240.

You may need to convert to an 86/87 style sensor with the extra air flow the 85 sensor unit may be causing an issue. Call Eric and see if he is locking the MAF count there.

Talked to eric and he said the 84-85 maf are tricky, he said he would tune the chip to have it read lower.
