Maf question

I'm going to get rid of my stock maf finally and get the translator. I have a LT1 maf when I had my Z-28. Is it better to get the LS1 maf or does it matter?

LT1 will do the job as already stated but the LS1 will do it better. Earl Brown has the data posted somewhere on here.

quick note, when everyone refers to the LS1 MAF they are talking about the 3.5" aluminum MAF, and when they refer to the LT1, they are talking about the 3" Impala SS LT1 MAF.

so, for your F-body LT1 MAF, set your translator for "LS1", the sensors are very close. The 3.5" LT1 MAF works very well.

Unless you're saving money because you already have a 3" filter, ALWAYS go with the larger 3.5" MAF.

Since you have one off a Z28, you should already have the bigger MAF.

Even if you have to put the 3.5 on a 3" pipe kit, you're still better off.
