Does anyone know what is the signal voltage from the MAP sensor? I'm toying with the idea of using one from a TTA to build an elecronic boost controller. I need the voltages for 16 to 22 lbs.
I'm hopeing somebody has some type of scan tool that will record these readings. Thanks. Todd

My understanding (I'm not 100% sure this is fact) is that it is a 0-5V signal that is proportional to MAP. ie, a 2 V signal is 2/5 = 40% of scale, and with a 3 bar sensor the MAP is therefore 3 x 0.40 = 1.2 bar or 17.4 psia or ~2.7 psig boost (at sea level). Shouldn't be too hard to check that if you are going to be building such a device.

Thanks John. I thought that's how it worked. I knew it was 0-5Vdc but just wanted to double check.
