More Terrorist Kidnappings??

I thought this information was very interesting, you probably will as well. In September 1985, four Soviet diplomats in Beirut were kidnapped by members of Hezbollah. One of them, Arkady Katkov, was shot in the head, and the rest were imprisoned. The terrorists wanted the Soviet Union to bring pressure on Syria to stop giving military support to a rival militia group. The situation was similar to that the United States, France, and other countries faced vis-à-vis the same Iranian-backed Shiite militants. But the Soviet response was different. Working with Syria, the KGB tracked down three young relatives of the Hezbollah leader. The Soviets then, so it is said, mutilated one of the men and sent body parts to the terrorists with a promise that the other two in their care would be treated similarly unless their people were released. That evening, the three diplomats, emaciated, unshaven, barefoot, and wearing dirty track suits, appeared at the gates of the Soviet embassy. Problem solved.

The Russians are still at it. A few months ago two Russian spys asassinated a retired Chechen Rebel leader in Qatar, but they got caught.

If you piss of the russians, you need to watch your back. Have your mother in law start your car for you every morning.

Unfortunately liberal political correctness (PC) forces us to fight a "nice" war. When you're dealing with fanatics whose brutality rivals that of Adolf Hitler (publicly releasing beheading of civilians) one must fight fire with fire and one-up these people. Unlike WWII Germans and Japanese this culture sees any type of capitulation as weakness and a victory for their cause. Give'em and inch and you lose a mile. For centuries these cultures have only understood pure brutality. We as Americans MUST understand we're not dealing with a society with values remotely similar to ours. We MUST deal with them on terms only they'll understand even though those terms may seem over the line to us.

Liberals completely disagree with this doctrine due to PC which is hurting our war effort. This only prolongs the war costing more American lives. The enemy is playing on this divisiveness in our society which is why they post the beheadings. They want the shock value it has on our society to cause internal feuding in the American political arena, especially with a national election looming. The attitudes of Weeester, Michael Moore and suprbuick7 is the audience Muslim fanatics wish to entertain, and they're succeeding. Unfortunately the Dims don't get it.
