Are you talking about HR Parts 'n Stuff's mounts, or parts store mounts?
The only thing that would have changed in HR's mounts is the durometer of the polyurethane. Power levels have gone up, I wouldn't be be surprised if they upped the stiffness of the bushing material to go along. Or maybe they didn't and people just get on the internet and bitch too much these days?
Do they transmit more vibration to the car? Yes. That's why they last. They don't move. Nobody makes a quality rubber motor mount today. The OEM ones are all gone. Everything is Mexican or Chinese, and they don't use a higher durometer rubber like GM did for this engine. You're getting the same mounts as they sell for a 110hp 2bbl carb 3.8 V6, because it makes zero sense for them to make a special set of mounts for us. As a result, they won't last.
