i got the r44 in wifes typhoon and i gaped them at .25 and that seemed to help with what you are talking about, but the plugs in her ty were also 6 years old that could have been most of the problem.sy looks nice by the way

one thing to check is the dist itself. my truck had a very bad hestation/sumble and would not rev very quick. I swapped out my stock dist for a cardone unit from advance auto and now the truck run great
