Hi, I need help finding the Delco am/fm/cd cassette unit that fits into our cars. It was almost an exact style to our stock units. I saw that Kirbans was selling them a while back. I think they were installed in early 90s Buick lesabre/park ave? A part # and a vehicle appliction would be a great help. btw, I looked on jaysgn.com but his don't have the cassette with cd.
thanks
Ken

Try these:

http://www.ls1.com

http://www.camaroz28.com

Go to the forums/message boards and then just look through Parts for Sale, search for "Monsoon". Get the 2000 - 2002 units. There are 2 types, the Camaro has Bass/Treble w/green display and the Firebird has EQ with red display. At ls1.com they have a FAQ section in Car Audio that will answer a lot of questions about these including the THEFTLOCK function. Try and get one with the THEFTLOCK off. I paid $50 for a Monsoon w/cassette. The ones w/CD are going for ~$100 to $150. If you get the cassette or CD unit you can get a GM harness to hook up a 6 or 12 disc GM CD changer for a "stock" setup. Metra has the adapter harnesses for the wiring and antenna lead(smaller pin). I put one in my 85 SS and am very happy with the sound. The mounting brackets on the F Body units are attached to the case, but can be modified to fit the STOCK brackets. Do a search forFLYIN GN, he's done one in a GN. I've got one of the Monsson amps but haven't hooked it up. Don't forget Bass Blockers for the 3.5's. Either 200 or 300 @4 ohms. I've got the 300's but I'm going to the 200's, because I mostly get only the higher range of sound. HTH.
Larry.
