oops, I didn't see the "aftermarket tach hookup" in the previous post. sorry. I shall proceed. My Poston headers came in, and wow are they pretty. My wallet took a nasty hit, but after seeing them, I feel a little better about it, hopefully it'll be worth skipping a few meals. I can't wait to start it up. I've got the driver side header on, but decided to wait till my bushing heat shield from kirban comes in till I put the other one on. I noticed when I removed the stock headers that my pas. side upper control arm rear bushing was taking quite a beating from the heat coming off the down pipe was about half gone. So i rebuilt the control arm and installed new bushings and ball joint. Looks like it will be a lot easier to install that heat shield without the header and down pipe there, so I'll wait. Has anybody else installed that particular heat shield? Does it really help out as well as kirban says it does?
