Non wastegate solenoid users.

I have been using the Racegate and removed the wastegate solenoid form the valve cover. I keep getting a low pulse or bad solenoid code. Is there a way to keep from getting a code with the solenoid removed? I see cars with manual wastegates without the wastegate solenoid pluged in.
