Cross posted from the TSM Discussion Forum:
Once the rain cleared up on Friday, TSM was given the green light to run the full quarter mile. Qualifying and eliminations were completed in the course of only 3 hours. In total, there were 12 TSM competitors half of whom were registered for the point series.
First place went to Dave Bamford who turned in a string of 10.0 passes - all weekend. Dave had the best looking/fastest TSM combination at the event, bar none. If I recall correctly, his best ET was a 10.04 and at one point he eclipsed 135 MPH. Scott Claridge from Strongville, Ohio redlighted against Dave in the final. Scott's car was running strong and turned in a few passes in the 10.6 zone at ~128 MPH.
Dave Stinson from Indiana took third place with an extremely clean and good looking GN. I recall he ran a 10.76 at some point. Brett Rudbeck qualified third with a 10.71 before smoking his transmission and (again) knocking the MAF pipe off his turbo. Jason White drove all the way up from Mississippi and collected a few rounds worth of points by placing fourth.
