It seems that most shovelhead, panhead and knucklehead owners are totally dedicated to the old style and want nothing to do with the evo's. I suspect that much of their dislike is also directed at the Company.

When I hear old skool I think Shovel, pan, knuckle or flathead...

Nothing wrong with an evo or twin cam but I loooove old school... Rigid, loud, rough and basically waiting for the next thing to break...

As you see in my pic where I'm kicking.. You see I have my carb cover off and I'm on the sidewalk... I was troubleshooting an issue which wound up being a loose pushrod... Gotta love it...

You have to love wrench'in to own the old bikes. But it's just like the Buicks. That's half the fun of owning one.

Nice pics guys, great looking bikes.

I too consider anything previous to an Evo-powered HD as old school. I own a hot-rod twin-cam myself & just last week tore down a perfectly good running motor (106cui. stroker) to find something else to do...

Currently looking for an FXR to build into a "pro-street" project if you know of any out there... CHEAP...
