Part throttle shift KR???

This just started last week. No kr on the shifts, then the next drive this problem sets in.

Low tps, moderate load, zero boost, 1-2 and 3-4 shift KR. It spikes to 15* and goes away after the shift. At WOT no 2-3 KR at all (KR ignore at <35mph in PE mode, so can't eval 1-2 shift). I have taken the serp belt off and shift KR is still there, so its not front drive related.

I have been all over the underside looking for loose parts, wear marks, etc. New stock replacement driver side mount, torque strap (on or off makes no difference in shift kr). Verified KR sensor is torqued to 14 ft/lbs.

Any ideas?

Currently using TT6.1 chip, PLX wideband.

PL file has a WOT run and around town driving.

Make sure your knock sensor is torqued properly. Too tight and it gives plenty of false knock.

I chased a 16* degree knock spike for a while. replaced the 25 year old knock sensor, torqued properly and no more knock.
