Plastic Paint

This is a non-turbo buick question for you paint guys. We are attempting to paint our plastic bleacher seats in the gym. I've researched Krylon Plastic Fusion and it seems to have good reviews. The seats are similar to some of the hard plastic you would find on some newer cars such as an intake cover. Anyone have any suggestions as we tackle this project? Replacing them is not as option so just want to say that in advance, we have no funds for a 35k dollar project but can handle attempting to paint them. Thanks in advance.

I have never painted that much at one time. Normally we clean it well with soap and hot water. Then wipe down with some isopropyl. We would then use a two part adhesion promoter from ppg. It is basically a wet rag we wipe it with first and than spray an aerosol adhesion promoter over top and then wait 10 minutes and paint with normal automotive paint. The krylon may not ware as well since there is no catalyst to offer strength to the paint.

Remember though the paint will show wear as people will be stepping on them and their pants and jackets will scratch them also.
