Looking for program with data logging capabilities that doesn't cost 250+ bucks. I have scanmaster which is fine. But it doesnt update fast enough.
If Powerlogger is my only option thats fine just curious if there were any other affordable programs out there.

do you have a copy of the software,as this turbo meter pro is no longer available, and how to make one of these connectors for the aldl,
thanks brian

Powerlogger will be the best bet ESP when it comes to being able to post logs and ask for advice. If you just need to log and be able to review them later, I wrote these articles a few years ago...

This might help keep you out of trouble if you want to stretch out a budget.

Biggest downfall to those two is they take their data from the ALDL connector which means incredibly slow data rates. One frame every 1.5 seconds. That's a lot of missing data between frames!! That means only about 7 or 8 frames of data down a typical 12 second quarter mile run !!

Oops. I meant to mention that they have the same refresh rate as a stock scanmaster.

the major upside is price. they might be able to avoid making a 'what is the best headgasket' thread while saving up for a powerlogger.

brian, I made a few extra cables way back when. I'll put my hands on one of them and shoot you a PM.

I currently use a powerlogger which is much better than other options. If you have a gen 2 you can use tunerpro rt to data log. I believe its still A donation based piece of SW. I used to do this but it doesn't record as much data (boost for instance) as the powerlogger.
