ramchargers 208/208 cam

I used it for a while it was okay. I prefer a bigger cam. If you want a small cam go with at least the Comp 212/212.

Lots of opinions on this...

I have the 208 cam in my GN, also with Champion ported irons. It idles well and runs very well. In my experience it seems similar to the very popular 206 grind. I think the 208 would work extremely well in almost any street application.
Many Buick specialists will caution against camshafts over 210 or 212 for street cars, and I have a 218/214 in our T-Type. It's noticeably cammier than stock but I love it.
I'm not aware of any durability issues with the 208, and don't think you can go wrong with it.

GREAT CAM!

I put mine in at 156K, I'm up to 173K miles and never had any problems driving the car daily or racing and building boost. It is a very quiet cam too, just like stock.

Lets not forget Geno went 9's with this same cam on his stock block.

i run the kenne bell 208/208. Great street/strip cam w/ good idle. Valvetrain is noisy as hell tho!

Seems a lot of folks including myself have had problems with the aftermarket cams loosing lobes in very few miles. I'm of the opinion that a guy can't beat the stock cam for durability. If you want a larger cam, keep the stocker and put a set of higher ratio roller rockers on there and that will give you the added lift of a larger cam with the good idle of the OE cam. Also the roller rockers will lessen the valvetrane friction and give you the option of adjusting the preload if ya want. Just my opinion.

my stock cam had a wiped out lobe at 50k. i hear this is a common problem with stockers. i've got over 20k on my kenne bell cam and its fine.
