Any particular preference on double adjustable rear control arms?

lowered 2" and need to get rid of bulkdy stock units and adjust my pinion angle. Im seeing southside and spohn pretty much in the same price range.

whats the public opinion on this topic?

I have HR parts-n-stuff and they seem nice, can't say I have experience with any others although I believe general consensus is heim joints allow more articulation

I have HR and Metco on the upper adjustables and South Side lowers. My lowers have never changed since day 1 but I have tried different uppers. I have a new set of Wild Rides race cars that I bought at a swap meet that's going on another GN.

I think South Side Machine has been out of business for years. I have a set of South Side Machine lowers that I ran for years before switching to HR. They worked good but were causing my frame to crack at the mounting point before I added the braces and had them welded up. I am running HR uppers and lowers now and like them. I have looked at the Sphon stuff and it all appears to be well made. I would say HR or Sphon.

I agree on the South Sides and frame issues , had to do some prework on the frame prior to install. I did forget about the used set of UMI performance adjustables that I got off of this site. Pound for pound HR has a series to fit every need and I didn't mind buying their uppers, braces or motor mounts at all. I would love to try their anti roll bar with an Insane kit.

If you want a UMI product, this is the only way to go. Spherical rod ends wear out and become sloppy creating a lot of movement and noise. Solid ends can't twist and need to when one tire moves up into one wheel house as the other one moves down away from the other wheel house. The rod ends on these UMI control arms are called roto-joints and are rebuildable. They are UMI's version of the original Currie Enterprises Johnny Joints. I can't stress enough how important it is to use some kind of joint that allows articulation. The johnny or roto joints are the only sensible way to accomplish this.

You'll need these to install into the differential housing for the upper arms.

This is the way to go for the upper control arms.

If you want to be able to adjust instant center, you'll need these. I don't think he offers roto joints but you could buy them for these.

The original anti sway bar is another thing that causes bind,so an aftermarket alternative like this will get rid of the bind as it doesn't bolt to the lower control arms.

I have the adjustable UMI uppers and lowers with roto joints

Pretty happy with that set up

I bought the UMI double adjustable with roto joints on one end and poly on the other. They should be here tomorrow and hopefully in by the weekend!!!
