The trans was rebuilt about 2 years ago, but have not drove it untill 3 days ago. It was supposed to be built for a lock-up converter. When i test drove the car the other day in the first four years i put it in drive and pulled out, seemed to be real doggy, then i figured i would down shift it, and it goes down. is there anything else that could cause this to happen, i really didnt want a manual valve body, on another note my temp guage starts at 140degrees and last night i drove it about 5 miles and the guage didnt move, but it does work, is this normal. I also have a external cooler and one side was warm and the other was a little cooler so i obviously have flow(but how much?) thanks guys
