removing old glue

hood badges broke off one side so I want to remove them......what will get the old nasty looking glue off without destroying the paint?

Maybe Goo-be-gone
like a orange cleaner won't hurt the paint
Might not take it off worth a try
The glue is a Acrylic adhesive so other removers could harm the paint
So if you use them don't let it stay on the paint/adhesive very long
Maybe a wood coffee stirrer to loosen after softing, but easy not to much rubbing!
