Returning Comp 853 lifters

Update....new Morel lifters fixed the problem. also i ordered them from Weber, and they have awesome customer service i will for sure order from them again.

That's great news! Did Comp have any idea what the problem was?

They agreed that two lifters had collapsed but they did not say why. The good thing is they didn't give me any resistance on the return. I did not get a refund however I did get a full credit with them. The other good thing is Comp owns FAST so I'm sure I will find something else. I just finished the install with Morels today and its very quite.

It would be nice to get something extra for your time in addition to the parts credit but at least they stepped up. I have 1 lifter that acts up every once in a while and It drives me crazy it's not a Comp though.

I had that experience before. I have not experience it with the replacement part number.
