rocker bar upgrade and studs...quick question

I have broken a few stock rocker bars.....I just got a set of solid bars and the RJC braces from a board member. I also picked up a set of the rocker bar studs from TA.

I plan to chase the threads in the rocker towers and run the studs down with some blue locktite.


My question is to those who are running this setup......do you run the same amount of tq on the nuts as you would the stock bolts or do you go a little more being that is studded.

If so what are you torquing the nuts to?

If the stud has the same thread on the topside run the same torque.

I'd probably steer clear of the locktite. It'll probably cause more headaches than solve any problems.

Hey Earl....the stud is fine thread up top....yeah I have been back and forth on the locktite....
