Romulator and Maotes 29c256 adapters

If I use the Moates .6 spacing adapter to enable the use of 29c256 chips for the EE capabilites and comaptibilities with the rest of my fleet, will I be able to plug the Romulator in and go with a 148 set up that way?

What about above scenario with going Romless as well?
