I just bought an autometer pro comp rpm gauge and would like to know where I should hook up the white(for the light) wire and the green(for the rpm's)wire to the car. thanks

The white wire should go to the fuse box (I think in the middle)
there is a male spade lug that has LTS on it this is connected to
your lights and will turn on and off with your lights.
The green wire goes to the green connector (I think with white and green strip wire) behind the A/C compresser in the motor compartment.
