Running rich

I have changed plugs, wires, cleaned MAF
.
Still little rough and stumbles at tip in

Thanks

Have you checked the voltage on the TPS? Also, do you have any bad exhaust leaks before the O2 sensor?

www.gnttype.org/techarea/maintenance/TPS.htm

Its also a slim possibility that the fuel pressure regulator could be bad...very slim chance though. In my time selling parts and working on cars I may sell 1 fpr for every 100 fuel pumps. Try checking the fuel pressure anyways to rule that out.

Hope this helps-
Donnie

Yes, some leaking header flanges (stock manifolds)
Looking to get some headers, was notified from a forum member that he had a set of stainless headers. SS atr type headers

I will check tps, upgrading ignition, module to. 886/87

Thanks again

The header cracks could be causing a part of your problem. If exhaust escapes before the O2 sensor then it'll be read as being leaner than what it really is and the ECM will make adjustments. Also if the O2 sensor is shot that can cause it to run rich. Im still learning about TR's myself, but mine has already taught me alot in the short time its been running.

Have you had a check engine light on?

No CEL, but can test to make sure its ok....

this is my first turbo car also...

thanks a million..

Running rich, causes?

Thanks

Do you have a scan tool? If you do, post the numbers.
If you don’t, GET ONE . . . . . . and post the numbers.

What chip and injectors are in the car?

A scan tool is on my list as well...along with an 87 ECM and TT chip...it can take ALOT of trial and error to figure out minor probs.

Ask me how I know this........
