Malfunction Codes Reference

Prom error. Pull the chip out of the ecu (pass. side kick panel, chip (smaller of the 2) is under the cover), and clean, inspect for bent pins, reinsert. Chips don't usually go bad. ECM location is succeptable to water intrusion, which may be the case here. Also make sure there is no signs of corrosion/moisture at the ecu connector. Could also be a bad ecm. Easily had at any local boneyard for $30ish.

EDIT - also, after the above, disconnect the orange wire at the positive batt. cable for a few seconds to clear the ecm memory.
