Seat cover question

I'm looking to replace my rear seat in my 87 Buick T. I found a seat in fairly good condition for 60 dollars but it came out of a Monte Carlo. From the pictures it looks like its the same color but I want to know if the Monte Carlos had ox blood colored seat covers. Did they have colors that were close?

If you know the year Monte your local upholstery shop may have a Detroit Body Products book. Offer to buy the beverages and ask for help solving your mystery. Maybe they'll help you look up the original Monte and Regal fabrics for comparison. They might enjoy taking a break from the Spring rush.
