Was the security center on an 87 GN the same as any other years/models? Mine took a dump and was wondering if it was something that I could find in any regal in a junk yard or if it was something that was GN specific?

I assume you mean the anti theft module. The black box under the dash. All of the anti theft parts used on the Regal are pretty much all of the same stuff used across the board on the other GM cars. My favorite junkyard sources are the 80's Cadillacs. Just look for the Anti-Theft decals on the front windows.

You've got it made if you can find a RWD DeVille or Fleetwood. Those are right under the steering column. All you need to do is remove the bottom dash cover.
