hey you guys what would cause slow cranking or long cranking like 5 to 7 seconds at start up? what should i look for? thanks

I had the same problem. Changed the tired starter and upgraded the starter cable to 0 gauge. Fix my problem. Hope this helps

my car loses fuel pressure when it sits for a day or so. It then takes awhile to start. try starting the car in shorter cranks... i believe the fuel pump only turns back on after the prime once the engine sees oil pressure.
