He should be. You always check a weapon when you first take possession. Don't assume it's safe, know it is and don't point it at anyone you don't intend to shoot. Accidents can happen but this was a mistake at least, if not deliberate, and actions have consequences. Of course, being a "star", he probably won't be convicted but the loss of a life in this manner deserves a day in court. Hopefully the jury will be as fed up with these Hollywood types as the rest of us and actually reach a fair verdict.
