stock blazer?

i was wanting to put my spare Gn turbo on a stock earlt 90's blazer and was wondering if the 4.3 from a sy/ty is alot different than a normal blazer motor? also if i bough a 4x4 and put it in 4 high is it like a awd from a sy/ty? thanks jerrad

Yes and no. Compression is lower on syty so you'll need to swap in the correct pistons. Syty 4.3s have nodular iron main caps where as reg 4.3s do not. Everything else is the same as far as long block.

In a straight line yes just dont try to turn a corner or go around a curve unless you dont mind buying front tires every two weeks or so.

do the sy/ty's not have individual injectors? a stock blazer only has a throttle body with two big injectors. thanks jerrad
