Has anyone done this to the 3.8 Turbo motor? What were the results? What could someone expect from the increased displacement on these motors?

Stroker

Not many people like to discuss this topic. Most of the TSM guys keep very hush hush about it. There is definite an improvement with a stroker 109 block. Car will make more power. There are alot more guys running this setup now than in the past. Due to lack of Stage motors and for advantage in certain race classes. It's pricey to build a stroke 109 motor. Crank alone will run around $2200-2500 and you will also need different rods ($1000.00). I estimate a short block like this will run between $6500-$7500.

Your price for the crank is on the high side because you could pick up a 3.59 or a 3.625 stroke BMS (Buick Motorsports) forged narrow journal crank for $1000-$1500 instead of getting a Billet crank.... Hopefully Eagle will make a 3.59 and/or 3.625 stroke crank and a nice set of rods for about the same price as the cranks.... This would make it a good bit cheaper to stroke our motors....
