suprised i still have headgaskets

i messed with my pos boost controller settings to try and creep it up for alcahool and as soon as i touched it it would overboost every time i tryed diaging it with a gauge and reversing a vacpump but no luck so i swaped to the old solinoid still had the y piece anyway all that driveing and over boosting i heard knock but the tlkink didnot show any retard soooo im thinking maby i have a dead knock sensor? .. not one lil bit at all on any runs, and could i still have done dammage even though the gaskets are still in tact?
