t-link not reading

when i try to connect my turbolink. it tells me no incoming data is recieving. what could my problem be.

Which version?

Are you using a USB converter?

If using V4, have you done the cable connection test?

Likely suspects would be:
* Physical connection to the car is loose
* If using old V2 stuff, parallel port problem with laptop
* If using USB converter, COM port not set up correctly
* V2, cable might be bad
* ECU quad driver bad

v4 no usb converter. it says its sending but the ecm is not responding

Look really closely at the the ALDL end of the "box". Make sure the pins are pushed up or bent (easy to do if things get a little sideways when plugging in).

Also, look at the ALDL port itself for the wires being pushed to the back of the plug.
