The instructions that came with my boost gage was for an 86/87 hookup. Can anyone tell me where to tap in on a hot air?

in the front of the intake right behind the fuel pressure regulator there is an npt plug you can remove and install the fitting for the gauge. this is probably the most direct source.

The line going to the MAP sensor is a good one as well.

What kind of boost pressure should I be seeing at what RPM. I'm seeing nothing below 1000 RPM. I have the interior out of the car so I can't drive it around.

Boost is a function primarily of load, not just RPM.

Example:
5 MPH, 1000 rpm, level surface, steady throttle, you will see 0 boost.
5 MPH, 1000 rpm, mashing the throttle, you will get boost based on the settings.

Car in park, step on the throttle, 2000 rpm, you will get Zero boost.

Thanks, I guess I'll need to wait for the interior to come back from the upholstery shop.
